Savannah, GA (Ft. Stewart and Surrounding Area)

The Military Sales Representative (MSR) is dedicated to establishing and growing Lawson Products’ sales on select major military bases across the United States. The MSR position will primarily be responsible for one major base (Ft. Stewart) with other military installations assigned based on geographical proximity to the primary base. The objective of this individual is to grow sales with all tactical and non-tactical potential customers of Lawson Products’ maintenance, repair and operations products on their assigned military base(s).


  • Maintaining a consistent, frequent and helpful presence on assigned base(s)

  • Establishing relationships and building trust with key purchasing decision-makers and influencers

  • Growing sales in all tactical and non-tactical outfits on the base, including but not limited to: Battalion motor pools, Department of Public Works (DPW), Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) and Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR)

  • Assisting Battalion Chiefs, contractors and other purchasing personnel with placing orders on the G-Army ordering system

  • Installing storage systems (steel bins, cabinets, drawer stacks, etc.) in maintenance shops and portable containers (tri-cons)

  • Replenishing inventory of used items on a regularly scheduled basis

  • Tracking customer relationship management data


  • US Military Veteran transitioning to the Active Reserve or Retiring Veteran with a maintenance or supply MOS or Rate highly preferred

  • Must display a working knowledge of Army base and personnel structure (working knowledge of Army plus other military branches and base structures preferred)

  • Must display a general knowledge of Military Supply Systems

  • Must demonstrate familiarity with putting orders through the G-Army purchasing system

  • Understanding of military culture, hierarchy and norms

  • Lives within 1 hour of Ft. Stewart

  • Technologically proficient

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; especially Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
