We’re looking for a motivated Inventory Control Assistant to serve as the liaison between our warehouse team, corporate purchasing team and customer service team. They are responsible for providing facility customer service support as needed, including resolving issues and performing administrative tasks.

Provides support for our non-conformance processes, including maintaining the non-conformance cost (NCC) log and distributing it to the necessary departments. Ensuring our ISO timing for completion is achieved. Performing monthly audits.
Supports our non-core/non-stock (Specials) team by working aged inventory, updating them on the non-conformance log and performing monthly audits.
Ensures all product returns are processed in a timely manner.
Acts as our military order liaison, advising warehouse staff of large orders to prep for shipment. Follows line-routed material from other distribution centers and advises the receiving department when the material is available. Requests shipping labels from the military team at corporate. Provides “early warning” weekly reviews.
Coordinates requests received from our facility’s shared mailbox, including adding “hot” orders to the AM & PM hot-list.
Evaluates daily order exceptions and issues daily report summaries.
Reviews and updates the daily metric report.
Reviews the daily supply chain database information and enters the information into a central repository by deadline.
Reviews order block list daily.
Files carrier claims and logs them appropriately.
Performs general office duties, such as filing bill of ladings, printing safety data sheets, sorting and distributing mail.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma, plus three years of experience in an office environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with SAP is preferred.
Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Must adhere to our warehouse’s safety requirements, including wearing the proper safety attire when in the warehouse.
