Become our in-house subject matter expert for developing targeted prospect lists, enriching customer information, and analyzing / reporting on omnichannel marketing programs. Collaborate with our Manager of Customer Engagement & Insights, Market Segment Managers and others to support new initiatives and strategic opportunities.
Our corporate headquarters is located in Chicago, IL. This role operates on a hybrid work model; employees spend two days working in the office and three days working remotely. Responsibilities:

Help generate ROI by developing marketing and sales lists for our field sales, phone sales, and strategic sales teams. This includes sourcing and prioritizing / scoring leads using internal databases and external portals. Analyze list effectiveness and make recommendations to optimize sales within the purchase funnel.
Develop and release "bots" to crawl the web and scrape relevant sales leads.
Manage lead generation services and data append services; manage data append, custom industry classification, etc. for customer and lead records.
Conduct product and market basket analysis to figure out the optimum product combinations.
Merge data from multiple sources to create interactive dashboards and reports that help us propel the company into new industries and channels.
Gauge the effectiveness of new, front-line programs and initiatives and provide insights based on real-time data to help us gain a fresh perspective.
Develop and track new KPIs focused on omnichannel marketing, coordinating with colleagues the digital, print marketing, and telemarketing.
Support secondary research / competitive analysis, including ongoing tracking/reporting and ad-hoc alerts, as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred, with at least 3-5 years of lead generation and related data analysis experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge and experience with government data sources (e.g., Census Bureau, BLS, SIC / NAICS, etc.) a huge plus.
Working knowledge of list service portals, such as ZoomInfo, LeadSpace, D&B / Hoover's, etc.
Experience/knowledge of working with bots to crawl the web and scrape relevant information from selected web sites.
Experience working with a CRM system to import prospects/leads pull/merge data with other sources and build reports.
Strong knowledge and proven experience merging data from multiple tables in a complex data warehouse environment.
Experience with B2B data compilation, prep, cleaning, and analysis, preferably in industrial products or the MRO (maintenance and repair operations) industry.
Proven expertise in Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and complex / nested functions. Ability to pull and merge data using Power Query. Experience writing queries in SQL from scratch to merge/link data tables, create datasets, and analyze data. Proficiency in Power Query and SQL a plus!
Proficient in basic statistical analysis and A/B test analysis. Proficiency in SPSS, SAS, R, etc. a huge plus!
Working knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, and other interactive dashboard/visualization tools. Ability to create data models in Power BI a huge plus!
Innate creativity and persistence; a self-starter with ability to quickly brainstorm solutions and dive deep into complicated and ambiguous data environments to merge and analyze data.
High energy and strong communication skills. Able to deftly collaborate with others at all levels on a cross-functional team. Ability to converse on both technical and business levels.
Strong organization and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives with speed and agility. Proven ability to meet deadlines with high-quality output.
Strong basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
