We’re looking for a motivated Purchase Order Expeditor to coordinate our network inventory flows and maintain service levels by expediting purchase orders with our vendors.

Confirms purchase orders with vendors, including validating delivery dates.
Contacts vendor regrading past due orders, advising management of order delays. Works to resolve order delays and delivery issues.
Provides order status updates to sales representatives. Expedites delivery when requested by the sales team. Coordinates returns and vendor error resolutions, such as replacement orders.
Updates system (SAP) with current shipping information and other notes. Reviews open lines and respective delivery dates for lead-time accuracy.
Responds to customer and sales representative inquiries for stock-checks, status updates and expedite requests. Requests are fielded via email and phone.
Works with the logistics team and freight carriers to resolve shipping issues.
Assists buyers with supplier non-conformances and AP-invoice resolution (MRBR).
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with 3 years’ experience in purchasing and/or customer service, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three to five years of SAP experience (MRP/ERP).
Strong PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook and Excel.
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
