We are looking for a motivated Director of Inside Sales responsible for co-developing and executing Lawson’s inside sales strategy. The ideal candidate has a strong background in B2B sales, sales leadership, and has demonstrated success in a faced-paced, dynamic, high-growth inside sales call center environment. The position will assume leadership of Lawson’s inside sales function and outsourced relationships

Responsibilities:

  • Inspires, leads, and drives the inside sales team to meet or exceed all sales goals established by executive leadership.

  • Fosters a high-performing and energetic culture that instills a feeling of inclusion and belonging.

  • Executes all aspects of hiring, developing, coaching/mentoring, appraising, rewarding, and holding his/her reports accountable for assigned job responsibilities and results.

  • Drives, supports and influences the go-to-market strategies and operational optimization for the inside sales team.

  • Drives inside sales growth, achieving overall performance metrics (revenue, retention, forecast, employee satisfaction, etc.)

  • Manages overall sales team processes and sets appropriate metrics for sales funnel management.

  • Plans and manages at both the strategic and operational levels.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of inside sales experience, similar CRM experience, and 5+ years of experience as an inside sales functional leader, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience in developing and expanding an inside sales function, including outsourcing opportunities.

  • Experience using enterprise CRM solutions required.

  • Full understanding of the sales process, from lead, to close, to ongoing account management.

  • Experience in call coaching to improve rep performance and customer experience.

  • Ability to lead multiple projects and activities while paying attention to detail.

  • Self-starter who is confident in an ambitious environment and has a track record of using analytic skills to actively develop new insights that drive operational strategy and revenue growth.

  • Excellent leadership, energy, judgment, communication, management, and analytical skills required.

  • Use enterprise CRM systems extensively with experience in creating reports.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communications skills.

  • Ability to coach team to successfully drive sales over the phone, email, video, and modern demonstration tools.

  • Superior leadership skills, with the ability to enable high performers to deliver and motivate underperformers to improve.

  • Works well in a diverse team and enjoys a dynamic environment.

  • Previous experience working in B2B industries preferred.

  • Leverages multiple data sources to inform key decision-making.

  • Strong operational and analytical abilities.
