We’re looking for a Creative Copywriter responsible for bringing our brands to life across all customer touchpoints. As part of the creative marketing team, you will collaborate cross-functionally to play a key role in developing engaging, high quality marketing campaigns that maximize revenues, increase retention, and strengthen our brand in the marketplace. This role is responsible for the strategy, development, and delivery of sales enablement programs.
Our corporate headquarters is in Chicago, IL. This role operates on a hybrid work model; employees spend two days working in the office and three days working remotely. We offer 401k plus vision, dental and medical benefits, as well as a paid holiday and PTO package.
Copywrites marketing campaigns and other communications used cross functionally, including brochures, print ads, social media, video scripting and storyboards, and supporting digital content as needed.
Develops and applies brand guidelines for multiple corporate brands.
Provides customized messaging strategies and copy based on defined customer segments, shared knowledge of user behavior, and best practice standards.
Collaborates with creative team members, product managers, and business owners to determine concepts and copy direction of branding and marketing initiatives.
Collaborates with creative team leaders to facilitate continued evolution of the brand voice and messaging across all media formats.
Manages related design and development requests, helping to proofread/test content prior to deployment/distribution.
Collaborates with internal resources to determine marketing needs and messages.
Supports CRM initiatives with persuasive copy that motivates recipients to act.
Assists with other duties and projects as directed by management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 - 5 years of experience in an advertising, marketing or agency environment
Excellent attention to detail and proofreading
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience in customer-centric copywriting
Proven experience in creating content used in customer retention, CRM and marketing programs that drive engagement and conversion
Ability to develop, produce and deliver clear, persuasive, original content that resonates with various target audiences in a unique and differentiating way
Ability to create content that aligns with customer needs and interests as well as corporate objectives
Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritize effectively
Ability to develop effective long-term working relationships within the department, across all departments and at all levels within the organization
